Our Story

The Beginning

EverKind was born from a simple but powerful idea: that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and really well looked after in their own home – especially when things get tricky.

Our founder, Sarah Falkingham, a care professional with a big heart and lots of experience, wanted to make a real difference. Driven by this passion, Sarah set out to bring together her know-how, genuine kindness, and a bit of that good old Yorkshire pride. The goal? To create a kind of care that people would remember for all the right reasons.

Growing with Care

Starting out right here in Harrogate, we’ve grown to support people across Ripon, Knaresborough, and even further afield. And while it started with just Sarah's vision, we now have an amazing team who share that same caring approach: kind, really good at what they do, and always putting you first. You can meet them in the 'Meet the Team' section!

What Makes Us Different?

At EverKind, we’re proud to offer home care that feels personal, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Whether it’s popping in for a friendly chat over a cuppa, helping with your everyday routines, or giving more specialist support for complex health needs, we make sure everything is just right for you. Because just like everyone is different, the care they deserve should be too.

Our Approach to Care

  • Local and Proud: We’re based right here in Harrogate, and we know Yorkshire like the back of our hand. Our care is shaped by what we know about our local communities and the people who live here.
  • Care That Feels Just For You: We don't do a one-size-fits-all approach. We really listen to you to understand your routine, what you like, and what pace feels right, so the support we give is just for you.
  • Honest and Straightforward: We say what we mean, and we do what we say. You’ll get proper care with no fuss, just kindness and a can-do attitude.
  • A Friendly Face: Whether it’s a quick visit or we’re there to support you more often, we’ll always bring a bit of warmth and cheer to brighten your day.

Our Promise

At EverKind Services, we’re more than just a care company – we’re part of your community. We’re here to make home care across Yorkshire even better by always putting people first, sticking to what we believe in, and always caring with our hearts. You can always count on us for support that’s as kind as it is reliable.
